ELC NEWS
This week Mrs Slatter has introduced the children attending the Seahorse Program to a traditional Indonesian musical instrument being the angklung. Mrs Slatter answered the many questions the children had, played twinkle twinkle little start and helped the children create their own music. The angklung is from Bandung, a city in Jawa Barat (West Java province) where Mrs Gould was born. When Mrs Gould attended primary school, it was compulsory for the children to learn to play one of three traditional instruments with the angklung being one.
If you have not already, we encourage you to book a time to meet with your child’s teacher. Please note that you are required to make interview bookings online and the system closes tomorrow.
