RE News with Emma Donaghue
Congratulations to our 6 students who received the Holy Spirit throught the sacrament of Confirmation last night. Through Confirmation, this completes Baptism, by which in the laying on of hands and the anointing with Chrism Oil, which first happened at Baptism, we are confirmed with the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
..The theme for Book Week 2024 is "Reading is Magic"..
As I write this Book Week is over, c'est fini,è finita, se acabó, antahaa .....
I love Book Week. I love the buzz it brings to our school and the library. I love the excitement it generates and how it gives libraries, books and reading the spotlight they deserve.
Thank you to everyone for making such a marvelous effort for inspirational costumes, getting into the characters of books and putting smiles on everyone's faces.
Even though Book Week for 2024 has come to an end, remember that every day can be a book day.
Some students who attend SJV also play basketball for the Tuggeranong Vikings Basketball Club. We extend an invitation to any students from SJV, who may be interested in playing basketball, to join them for the upcoming summer basketball season.
Happy Birthday Joey L
