Transitions
Transition can often be a tough time for families and in particular children. At SJV we have some students moving interstate to other schools, students moving into high school and students moving from day care and ELC's into our Kindergarten next year. As such, these students may need support in the transition and I have placed a useful article using the link below as a resource for parents.

ELC NEWS
Happy Birthday Tudno W
Portfolio and reports
Portfolios and reports will be sent home next week. We hope you enjoy reflecting on the year and all of your child’s learning journey achievements. Traditionally the ELC does not do end of year parent teacher interviews. If you would like to catch up and discuss your child’s progress, please contact your teacher to organise a day/time.
Last day of preschool
If your child will not be attending on their last day/s in Week 11 please email the ELC office so that the last attending day can be amended in our booking system. This will prevent you having to pay full fees as you would not be entitled to your usual CCS.
Holiday Care December
The ELC will be offering Holiday Care on Monday 20, Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 December. Please email the ELC office if you would like to make a booking. Please note that bookings for Holiday Care will not be accepted if fees are in arrears.
Library books
With the end of term fast approaching, please have a look around your house for any St Jude’s library books that need returning.
ELC Fees – End of Year Reminders
ELC fees are now due. There is often a small difference between the CCS estimated on your account and the CCS actually approved for your child, resulting in small amounts owing. If this applies to you, we will send a follow-up statement. Please also remember to cancel automatic payments now to avoid overpaying your account.
Signing Children in/out of the ELC
IPads for signing in/out will be located outside the gate, please sanitise hands before using the iPad.
Initially you will be asked to 'accept' the absences (from the period of lockdown), and 'accept' the sign in/out from the period of the return to school where staff have signed children in and out.
Christmas Photography Fundraiser
Fifth Lane Photography are offering Christmas portrait sessions. Shopping centre Santa photos won’t quite be the same this year so this is a wonderful alternative. The ELC will receive $20 for each session booked.
