Side Show Alley
Yesterday the Year 6 cohort ran "Sideshow Alley". Sideshow Alley is a Year 6 tradition where you form groups and run stalls and fun games. To participate it costs less than 50c.
The stalls we ran were: Spider drinks, splash the teacher, pick-a-stick, spin the wheel, soda/coin toss, pillow fights and a raffle.
The money we raised was for the Catholic Mission in Cambodia and all up we raised over a whopping $300!!
All from loose change from our incredible school which is totally amazing!
We would like to thank the teachers for making this happen since the crazy year we've had, we are so grateful for this opportunity.
We all had a great time throwing sponges at Mr Rodda, Mrs Thomas and Mr Young and beating up our friends with a pillow.

Tuckshop Volunteers Needed
The tuckshop is in desperate need of some volunteers this term.
If you can only spare a couple of hours, that would be fantastic. If you have little ones, they are very welcome to come along.
Please contact the front office or fill in the Volunteer Tuck shop form to let us know you are able to help and when. Many thanks.
Dates for the following weeks
Monday 9th November | Start of Naidoc Week |
Tuesday 10th November | Kinder Orientation Day |
Our week started with the Stingrays walkathon. Thank you to 2H and 3LS for coming and cheering us on. The Turtles had a visit from Natalie’s parents who shared knowledge about being a nurse. They provided the classroom with many resources that have been used to create an amazing hospital dramatic play area. As the year draws to a close, families and children are preparing for transitions. Change can be daunting for all of us. If you are looking for resources and information about how to best prepare your family for change, two informative websites to visit include BeYou and Starting Blocks.
Fifth Lane photography
$20 from each photo package purchased by families from our community will go towards ELC resources. If you are due for family photos or looking for a special Christmas gift check out their website and the great deal.
ELC Fees
A reminder that ELC Fees are due tomorrow, Friday 6 November. Please check the ‘Due Now’ amount on your statement. As it is the last term of preschool, we appreciate your efforts to ensure accounts are up to date.
