Enrolment Period - Flyer Drop and Word of Mouth

Thankyou to all our wonderful parents who have done an amazing job dropping flyers through Weston/Molonglo.  These will contain our name, the day and time of our Open Day and a QR code for parents to scan which sends people to our website and Facebook page.  The best way to support our school is always word of mouth, so if you know someone who is thinking of enrolling, please send them our way.

We had a lovely time in Wright and we even saw a bearded dragon! Axel wanted me to show everyone. 

Congratulations to Elsie in Year 3/4P

Elsie Spackman attended her very first art exhibition ‘Trees and Me’ - it was a drawing competition as part of Canberra Tree Week. Trees and Me was a drawing competition held for Canberra Tree Week asking children to use their imagination to illustrate their connection to trees in their backyard, parks and gardens. Elsie attended an award ceremony at the Australian National Botanic Gardens yesterday afternoon as a winner with her painting of "Autumn leaves in Canberra" to receive her certificate and plant. Elsie's artwork will be displayed in the outdoor exhibition at the Australian National Botanic Gardens (starting at the café and heading towards the tree house) for the month of May.

Mother's Day Breakfast

You still have the opportunity to fundraise, we would really like to reach our goal of $8,000.  The class who raises the most money will win a pizza lunch and when we reach our $8,000 goal, the whole school will celebrate with popcorn and a movie afternoon. 

SJV Tuckshop is open Wednesday & Friday.  Orders can be made online via Qkr!  A copy of the Menu and Qkr! instructions can be found on the Tuckshop Webpage.
