The True Meaning of Christmas
Jesus Christ was born this day
So many years before
He came a servant to the lost,
Though he was Lord of Lords
We celebrate this joyous time,
Reflecting on His birth
Not born in a mansion, but a stable
As if He had no worth
He came so He could identify
With the human heart of man
And gave His life as a sacrifice,
Offering a better plan
A plan that reconciles us back
To our loving Father God,
Bringing hope and redemption from
Sins ruling, iron rod
For this is the only reason that we
Should celebrate this day,
To become focused on anything else,
Would take the meaning away
So let's arise with joy in our hearts
And share it with everyone
The meaning of Christmas will always be
The birth of Jesus – God's son

Happy Birthday to Nate
Well, that is a wrap.
This year has provided many challenges to us all and our community really banded together and made this year a memorable one filled with fun and laughter. The ELC team would like to thank our 2022 children, families and the wider community for your participation and support throughout the year.
We thank our year 5 buddy classes and their amazing teachers for providing time and activities that have built connections, and St John Vianney’s year 5 students who regularly visited the ELC after restrictions eased.
As well as farewelling the ELC children who are moving on to kindergarten, the ELC team is saying goodbye to Miss Georgina Nott. We wish her well in her future endeavours.
ELC – Yr 2 Nativity
Thank you to all of the staff who contributed to the Junior Nativity, it is a big ask this time of year to prepare students for a performance. It was wonderful to be able to invite our families along to celebrate the birth of Jesus, thank you to everyone who was able to attend.
Last Day of Term – Thursday 15 December
Today is the last day of term, Friday 16December is a pupil free day and no fees have been applied for this day.
End of Year Fees
There is often a small difference between the CCS estimated on your account and the CCS actually approved for your child, resulting in small amounts owing at the end of the year. We have sent a follow-up statement to the families that this has affected. CCS is also reviewed several weeks after enrolments end and we will contact you if this effects your account.
