ELC NEWS
The ELC have had a week of celebrations. On Monday, we celebrated World Turtle Day with activities, dress ups and thanks to parents of the children in the Turtle class, we were introduced to two turtles who were purchased for the class. The children are still working on finding a name to suit each of them. On Wednesday, the children joined with thousands of children around the country for Simultaneous Story Time. This year’s story was Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas, written and Illustrated by Australian Lucinda Gifford. The children created headdresses, bow ties and other accessories, before listening to the story being read by Denis Scott online and by Mrs Comley during their library session. For the remainder of the week and until next Wednesday we will focus on Reconciliation Week.
