This Week is Laura Matchett

What is your favourite sport/sports team?
Canterbury Bulldogs

What is your favourite Music/Band?
I like most types of music. At the moment I've been listening to a lot more songs by The Wiggles and the Cookie Monster!

What are some of your hobbies?
Cooking and reading.

Do you have any pets?
No, but Mr Matchett would like us to get a dog one day!

What is your favourite food?
Ice cream and any type of meat.

Where did you go to Primary School and what subject did you enjoy the most?
St. Therese Primary School, Lakemba in Sydney. I liked Literacy the most, especially reading and writing.

Why did you become a teacher?
I have always loved working with children and their families to help them become the person they're going to be. I always hope that I can help cultivate a love, an interest or passion for something, and help nurture that to grow into something fulfilling.

What inspires you and why?
People who are incredibly talented at what they do and who are generous at sharing their gifts with others.
