ELC
On Wednesday the ELC was as green as an Irish field with children and staff wearing green as part of our St Patrick’s Day celebration. A special thank you to Eila in the Stingray class and her mother Debbie who worked with the ELC team to create a day filled with authentic festive activities. Outside the children went on a shamrock search, inside there was Irish music playing, children painting shamrocks while others created hats and badges. The ELC children shared some Irish cheer with the primary school as they paraded their creations for all to enjoy. If your family has an occasion or special day that you celebrate we would love to incorporate it into our preschool programs. Next week will have photos to share of our Harmony Day celebrations.
ELC Holiday Program - We are taking bookings for our ELC Holiday Program for current ELC children. Booking forms are available at the ELC office.
Changes and adaptions - Thank you for the positive feedback we have received in relation to the measures the ELC has put into place this week to aid social distancing. The side gate will remain the main entry and exit point to the ELC and the IPads for signing in/out will remain the sun rooms until further notice.
Cancellations - We will not be doing our Fruit Shop, buddies or afternoon community music until further notice.
Seahorse programs - After you have signed your child in/out please ensure a staff member is aware your child has arrived or is leaving. This is as simple as saying hello.
Unwell children - Thank you for doing your part in helping to keep others in our community healthy by ensuring that your child does not attend preschool if they are unwell.
