It is that time of year again when I would like to gently remind parents  about the importance of safe school parking.  A majority of families travel to and from school in cars and it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that children are kept safe at all times.

• Please only park in marked bays - Do not park against the curbs
• When parked, walk your child/ren into the play area (inside the gate)
• When crossing from the top car park to the school building please use the pedestrian crossings
• If using the drop off zone in the morning you should not get out of the car, the teacher on duty from 8.30am will assist if necessary.
• Drive to the furthest end of the Drop off zone before stopping
• Do not stop on the pedestrian crossing to let children out of the car
• For families with young children the drop off zone can be used as a pick-up area; your child will wait with the teacher on duty in the afternoon and then walk to the area when they see their car
• Please drive slowly – children are unpredictable! Your driving speed should be no more than 5km/h in the car park area.
• When moving to and from your car please be vigilant with supervision
