At SJV, we’ll be celebrating Book Week from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd August, with our Book Week Parade taking place on Wednesday 20th August, just before school starts.
Book an Adventure – Book Week 2025 Poem
Dress as a hero, wild and free —
A pirate, a princess, or climb a tall tree!
Be a brave explorer, off you go,
Or a clever detective solving what you know.
Open a book — your journey starts,
To magic lands and daring parts.
Swim with mermaids, zoom to space, 
Find hidden clues or win a race!
Your costume shows who you can be,
In stories filled with mystery.
Each page you turn, a world brand new —
With fun and friends and dreams come true.
So “Book an Adventure” far or near,
There’s magic in the books right here!
This Book Week, take a trip inside —
Adventure’s waiting — come and ride!

Book Week is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for your school to win a $2500 worth of books for your school!
How does it work?
From NOW to August 23rd, we’re inviting schools to:
- Visit your local QBD between NOW to August 23rd
- Hand the team your school’s flyer - no purchase needed!
