Sacraments 2025
At St John Vianney’s, we’re pleased to support families participating in the Parish-led sacramental program. This program is a special journey for you and your child, with Reconciliation typically celebrated in Year 3, Eucharist in Year 4, and Confirmation in Year 6.
The program includes a faith formation workbook, reflection hours, and Gathering Masses to help guide your child’s faith journey. Enrolment is simple and can be completed through the Qkr App by searching for Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish. We look forward to supporting your family on this meaningful path.

Gospel Reflection: Luke 3:10-18
This week’s Gospel reminds us of John the Baptist’s powerful call to action: to share what we have, act with integrity, and treat others with fairness. John’s advice is simple but profound—show kindness and justice in daily life. His message challenges us to reflect on how we can help those in need and live with honesty and humility.
As we continue our Advent journey, John’s words guide us to prepare our hearts for Jesus’ coming, not just with thoughts but through actions. Let us consider how we can bring the Good News into our homes and community through generosity and care.
Advent
As we enter the third week of Advent, we light the pink candle on the wreath, symbolising joy. This week invites us to rejoice in the hope and love that Jesus brings into our lives. Amid the busyness of the season, it’s a chance to pause and reflect on the blessings around us and the joy we can share with others.
Advent is a time to prepare our hearts, not only for Christmas but also for ways to brighten the lives of those in need. Let’s embrace this week with gratitude, kindness, and a spirit of giving that unites our community.
Thank you
A big thank you to everyone for welcoming me into the school community over the past 12 months. It has been a pleasure to be part of such a warm and friendly environment, and I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know you all.
As I move on, I’m proud to leave behind initiatives like our Hygiene Station, which reflect the generous and caring spirit of this community. I know it will continue to make a positive difference. Thank you again for all your kindness and support!
Kind regards,
