Christmas Message
I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to making this year at SJV truly remarkable.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge our incredible staff -teachers, administrative team, classroom assistants, support staff, and maintenance team. Your dedication, compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to fostering student growth and well-being have been invaluable.
We are especially grateful to those staff members who are moving on to new adventures: Emma Donaghue (REC), Olivia Brown (LSA), Andras Toth (REC Relief), and Liz Diskin (Year 5/6 teacher). We wish them all the best in their future careers and send them off with our love and prayers. We also bid farewell to Fr. Michael Lim, who has served our school as Parish Priest. We wish him every success as he begins his appointment in Goulburn.
A huge thank you to our amazing parents and caregivers. Your support and encouragement of your children have been vital, and we are deeply appreciative of those who have volunteered their time and helped with events. Your generosity and involvement continue to strengthen and enrich our community.
To our Year 6 Graduates I say:
‘I hope your dreams take you....
To the corners of your smiles.
To the highest of your hopes,
To the windows of your opportunities
and the most special places,
your heart has ever known.
To families and students who are leaving SJV and not returning in 2025, thank you for allowing us to be part of your child's education journey - we hope you will hold fond memories of SJV in the future.
Finally, to our students, thank you for your joy, curiosity, and kindness. You are the heart of our school, and it has been wonderful seeing you achieve your learning goals and celebrating with you this year.
As we head into the holiday season, I encourage you to stay safe, take time to rest, and enjoy special moments with your loved ones.
Merry Christmas and see you all 4th February 2025.
"Christmas is forever, not for just one day, for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf. The good you do for others is good you do yourself."
