Floriade Gnomes
Have you noticed a change in the gardens around the ELC and the St Jude's primary school office? Our ELC children have been busy for weeks, painting and repainting Floriade gnomes to bring a little bit of Floriade to St Jude’s. Take a stroll and see how many gnomes you can spot saying hello to you through the flowers.
Reptile Zoo Incursion
This week all three of our classes enjoyed an incursion with The Reptile Zoo. Peter from the zoo taught the children about snakes, frogs, lizards, turtles and crocodiles and gave the students an opportunity to touch the reptiles. As part of the incursion, Peter explained what to do if you come across a snake in the wild.
Mrs Putt
This week we will be wishing our wonderful Mrs Putt all the very best for her final teaching placement which goes until the end of the year. Mrs Putt has been a huge asset to our ELC, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge, dedication to working with young people and families, and a passion for teaching and learning.
