Year 2 News 
As part of the HAAS unit for Year 2 - " Life In The Past".
Focusing on technology changes from when their Grandparents and Parents were children.  Mrs Cowley showed them toys that would have been played with back then and what they play with now..... Year 2 made toys from the past. 
Kinder News 
Today Kinder conducted an experiment using white flowers.
The stems of the flowers were placed in red, blue, green and yellow food colouring
and water.
The function of the stem is to support the flower and carry water and nutrients.  This was proven when the flowers changed colour from white to red, blue, green and yellow.
Each child went home with a white daisy to conduct their own experiments at home so the whole family can watch and be fascinated.
Mr Young has set up a time-lapse of the experiment so we can watch it and share with the rest of the school.
