On Monday, Year 1 and Year 2 travelled by bus to visit the Hall Heritage Centre.  After closure of the Hall Primary School, the Village of Hall & District Progress Assocation was created.  It's run by a group of volunteers who take the children on a journey back in time.

The students were captivated by old building tools, cameras, phones, irons, toys, and many other items that have evolved over the past hundred years. They were able to see firsthand how these objects have changed over the years. Students stepped back in time and entered an old classroom. Inspector Cane welcomed them, inspecting the students' fingers, teeth, and shoes before settling in for a lesson with Mrs. Pratt. Armed with slate boards, the students practiced writing their names and solved Maths problems to earn their qualifying certificates. It was a great start to our next History Unit.
