Prayer for Fathers and Father Figures
God our Father,
in your wisdom and love you made all things.
Bless these men,
that they may be strengthened as Christian fathers.
Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.
Grant that we, their sons and daughters,
may honour them always
with a spirit of profound respect.
Grant this through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Gospel Reflection: Mark 7:31-37
In this Gospel, we see Jesus healing a man who was deaf and had difficulty speaking. By saying Ephphatha, meaning ‘Be opened,’ Jesus restores the man's ability to hear and speak clearly. This powerful miracle shows us how Jesus can open our hearts and minds to better understand and share His love. Just as Jesus healed the man, He invites us to be open to His teachings and to use our gifts to help others.
School Masses
As a school, we regularly attend the Wednesday morning 9:30 am Mass at St John Vianney’s Church. The choir sings at this Mass, and sometimes our students have a role in other parts of the celebration. Parents and friends of our school are welcome to join us alongside parishioners at this Mass. The dates the school will be attending Mass this term and next term are as follows:
Term 3 Week 9 - Wednesday 18th September: Parish Mass, 9:30am (Led by Year 3)
