The year again has started busy with many events already planned - Senior Camp, the school Swimming Carnival and Parent Information Night and Welcome BBQ, just to name a few.  These events are often easier and are more enjoyable with parent involvement. Therefore, we are searching for 2024 class contact for each class at SJV.  Thank you to Sonia Taflaga and Kylie Lloyd who have taken on the class parent contact role for Year 2 and Year 4 respectively.

Please consider undertaking this role either on your own or with another class parent. It does not require much time and it helps bring people together and build our SJV community.  Please fill in the form below and return to school if you are interested, or email your details to peter.rodda@cg.catholic.edu.au

Roles of a class contact may include all or some of the items listed below:

1. Collate and distribute a contact list of parents and students in their child’s class (if they chose to participate), this often helps with organising children’s parties, sporting teams and play dates. Eg – facebook and What’s app groups.
2. Organise class gatherings – this could be with or without children (this is a great way to socialise and usually occurs a couple of times a year but of course could be less or more)
3. If required help SJV focus groups find class organisers and\or participants for events and fundraisers.
4. Be a point of contact for any parent and families new to the school or class queries.
