SJV Fete
2023 SJV Fete - Best Day Ever!
We are 18 weeks away from this year’s Fete, being held on Saturday 4th November, 10am-2pm.
Uniform Free Day
In exchange for a donation of a block of chocolate, there will be a uniform free day on Friday 21 July (Week 1, Term 3).
The Chocolate Coin Toss stall needs LOTS of blocks of chocolate, ideally blocks that a 20c coin can land on:
- Small blocks (e.g. kit-kat)
- Big blocks (e.g. 200g cadbury dairy milk)
- LOTS and LOTS of blocks!?
Grab them on sale and keep them for 21st July.
Donation Drop Off
If you’re having a clean out these school holidays, make sure you keep your CLEAN and GOOD QUALITY goods for our White Elephant, Toys and Books stalls - no electrical goods can be accepted.

We would also love donations of any PLANTS , SEEDS and supermarket paper or plastic BAGS?️(for our fete visitors to take all their goodies home in)
Drop Off days are:
Monday 17 July: 9am-3pm
Tuesday 18 July: 8:30am-9:30am & 2:30pm-4pm
Please take your items to the classrooms near the Year 1 & 2 classrooms (check the map below and at the front office if unsure). There will be labelled boxes and crates for your donations. Please assist us by putting your items in the correct spots.

A Stall Leader
- Helps set up before/on the day
- Manages the stall (with the help of volunteers) all day
- Helps pack up the stall at the end of the day
- Is the stall contact with the Fete Committee
- Stall Leaders on food stalls are not responsible for making or buying food for their stalls (unless they want to).
A Stall Leader role can be shared between two people if preferred. The Fete Committee provide support and guidance, so there is plenty of help for those who haven't been a Stall Leader before and are willing to give it a go. ✨
Please email sjvfete@gmail.com to volunteer for one of these important roles.
Sponsorship
Do you have or know of a business that can support our event? Sponsorship is crucial to the success of the fete. We would love to receive donations of cash (to sponsor a ride or stall), vouchers, merchandise, products or services for our on-the-day prizes and raffles.
Sponsors receive great benefits in return for their support, including promotional signs, MC mentions on fete day, features in our newsletter and on our fete flyer so they get great exposure! Email sjvfete@gmail.com if you know of a business that would like to be involved.
