ELC News
It has been a fast paced few weeks with many excursions organised and this week was no different. Stingrays and Turtles enjoyed a walk to Cooleman Court earlier this week where they tried a variety of sushi rolls for lunch. This was an extension of our fruit shop and was instigated by our students who were discussing amongst themselves if they had tasted sushi or not. Most of the children were happy to try eating sushi and many discovered that they actually enjoyed the flavour and texture.
ELC Holiday Care Bookings Due – The ELC Holiday Care Program will run during the October school holidays. The program will run from from 8am to 5:30pm from Monday 30 September to Friday 11 October (minus the public holiday on Monday 7th). All Holiday bookings fees must be paid in full before the program commences to secure your place.
Tea Towels – All orders have now been sent home. We did order a few extras so if you would like to purchase one please contact the ELC office.
Lids 4 Kids – Thank you to the many families that have contributed to our collection of plastic milk bottle lids and bread tags. Envision Hands have been overwhelmed with donations and have asked us to stop collecting at this stage so they can focus on Stage 2 - processing the tops and tags.
Second hand uniforms – We placed a small selection of second hand uniforms out in the front foyer for those families who need a spare to last them one more term.
