The School Community Council (SCC) meets in week 3 and week 8 of each term. 

We last met on 8 May, and welcomed a visit from Sarah from the Catholic Education Office to discuss their current activity to review school boards and community councils with a view to standardising them across the archdiocese (see here for more information). If you are interested, we encourage you to read the information provided, and make a submission before 26 May 2023.  If you don't want to make a personal submission, the SCC intends to make a submission on behalf of the council and SJV families, so please send your feedback through to us on sjv.parent@gmail.com by 24 May 2023.

Preparations for this year's fete have already begun, with a dedicated SCC co-ordinator in Annette Doszpot!  We are looking for volunteers, good ideas and any information about what worked and didn't work from last year (or any other fete you have attended)!  If you have any feedback you'd like the team to consider, please send it through to sjv.parent@gmail.com any time.

The SCC welcomes any community feedback, so catch a SCC member any time (noted below), or use the email provided.  The next meeting is 13 June, and pencil in the annual open meeting on 4 September.
