WALKATHON UPDATE
Firstly CONGRATULATIONS we have outreached our goal. The children enjoyed their colourful uniform free day last Friday. Thank you Mrs Harding and the Canteen volunteers for a wonderful 'colourful lunch!'
Unfortunately 'Il Nina' has not been kind to us. With the unpredictability of the rain, we have decided to structure the completion of the 'walk' part of the Walkathon in stages. When the weather is suitable on sport days we will walk 1km around the school grounds. We will do this on 5 separate days. This shouldn't disrupt the school day too much and make it easier to fit in when the weather is suitable.
The 'Colour Run' part of the event, we will schedule in Term 4 when the weather is more likely to be warmer and less windy.
Children can still order their prizes online and we will finalise these ASAP. If you are yet to do so, please log into the account and select prizes. We will then give them out once we have completed the '5km' walk.
A huge thank you to Mrs Emerson and the SRC for their coordination.
Thank you again for the community support. Our combined achievement is outstanding.
