Thank you for participating in today’s fundraising event to assist Lismore schools that were heavily impacted by the recent floods. You can drop off gold coin donations to the front office to support St Joseph’s Primary Woodburn and Our Lady Help of Christians South Lismore.

Here are some of our best dressed teachers, Winnie even dressed up as Mrs Leighton but refused to do any of the boring office work!

Mystery Reader

Our Mystery Reader program has always been hugely successful in the past and we are excited to be able to offer it again. Each week a family member (parent, grandparent, older sibling etc) comes in to read a book from home to the class. It is a complete surprise who our mystery reader is each week and the children get such a huge thrill having family in the classroom. If you would like to come in and read to the class please add your name to the roster on the classroom window. If the days/times listed does not suit you or if the roster fills up before you get to it, please email your child’s teacher and we can arrange an alternate time. The key to this is the word mystery, so make sure you keep it a secret from your child. 

Primary School Pupil Free Day – No Canteen

The ELC will operate as usual on Friday however the canteen will not be available due to the pupil free day at the primary school.

Covid and Illness

As you are aware there are a number of illnesses circulating in the community at the moment and the Covid case numbers are predicted to increase over the next few weeks.  Please ensure you follow all the usual precautions, keep your children at home if they are unwell and let the ELC office know of any Covid cases. If you require any RAT kits please ask at the front office.
