The difficulties of teaching and wearing a mask -
Mrs Stilling was teaching her class of Year 2 students about "Italics" and the class was confused! "what was Italics?". She explained that "You use italics to emphasize the word in a story and the font changes and it looks to be on a slant"...
One of her students said oh "it's like a croissant"!!
Mrs Stilling looked at her in a perplexed way and the child went onto say "What flavour was the croissant?"
So Mrs Stilling lifted her mask and formed the sounds clearly ..... "I said font not croissant!"
