LIBRARY NEWS - IT'S BOOK WEEK - THEME: OLD WORLDS, NEW WORLDS, OTHER WORLDS

To celebrate Book Week, SJV students and staff are invited to a Virtual Book Week Character Parade this Friday.

DATE - 27th August 2021 (this Friday, Week 7).

WHEN - during your daily class check-in and roll call.

WHAT - wear a costume of a favourite book character.

CHALLENGE - stay safe at home and reuse, recycle or make a costume from what you already have at home.

PHOTO - email a photo of yourself in costume to Ms Heath to be included in a slideshow to share with the SJV school community.   BE CYBERSAFE - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PARENTAL PERMISSION TO SHARE YOUR PHOTO.

BOOK WEEK FUN ACTIVITIES

Students have been invited to participate in a number of fun Book Week activities this week through Google Classroom and Seesaw. They include:

• Predicting the 2021 winning books
• Making an Old, New or Other World
• Completing digital Book Week jigsaw puzzles
• Working out what the Book Week Rebus (Puzzle) cards said                  
  
  
  
• Playing 'Where in the world are the SJV Staff?'
