ELC News:-

We had a surprise with the delivery of our Hatching Chicks on Monday, with one chick having had hatched on its way to the ELC. By 3pm on Monday, we had two chicks ready to move from the incubator into their enclosure.  Since Monday, another two chicks have hatched and the children and staff are enjoying watching them grow and interact.  The Lobster class have delivered their pictures to the Weston Creek Post Office and the Turtle class have created their very own Post Office here at the ELC complete with a red post box, yellow express post box, parcels, letters and delivery bikes.

For the past few weeks, the ELC children have been enjoying their lunch with the primary school students.  The growth in the children's confidence whilst in the large lunch space has been evident in their increased interactions with some joining ball games on the oval, their wide exploration of the many different play spaces and perfecting the monkey bars and larger fixed equipment.

Head Lice

There has been a reported case of head lice at the ELC.  As they are extremely contagious, we are asking that all families read the note emailed on Monday and check your child's head/hair.

Working Bee Tomorrow

St Jude's Primary School and Early Learning Centre are hosting a working bee from 4:30 to 6:30pm this Friday 20 November.  If you can spare an hour or two, we would appreciate your help in moving tanbark into our garden areas, weeding and tidying our outdoor space.  If you can come along, please bring a shovel, rake, broom and wheelbarrow if possible.

ELC Fees - Cancel Auto Payments

It is important that you check your account balance to ensure you are paying the correct amount.  As it is the last term of preschool, we appreciate your efforts to ensure accounts are up to date.  As we approach the end of the year, please remember to cancel automatic payments to avoid overpayment of your account.
